Packet Pick-Up

Details

Arrive at 7 am, so you are present before runners arrive. Report to the starting line to receive directions from the timing company. Help to hand out race packets and race shirts to the runners. If willing, you can help with handing out snacks and water at the end of the race.

Course Directors

Details

Report to the starting line at 8:00 am. Make sure the runners know where to turn while on the course. Can leave after the race has finished or help with cleaning up (stacking cones along the course).

Water Station on race course

Details

Report to the starting line at 8:00 am to check-in. The water station is on the far side of the school in the bus loop. Fill up and hand out water cups to runners as they go by. Will be done when the last runner passes you on the 2nd loop. At the end, break down the table, chairs, and tents. Dump out any unused water and tie up the trash can. Someone will come around with a gator to pick everything up.

Details

Report to the starting line. Give runners a water bottle as they cross the finish line if they want any. Any unused water bottles at the conclusion of the race can be brought to the snack table.

Snack Table

Details

Report to the starting line. Pass out and restock the snack tables (fruit, water, granola bars) before and after the race. At the end of the event, break down tables and chairs.

Clean Up - Picking up Cones

Details

Make stacks of 5 cones along the course. If someone has a truck, they can go behind and throw them in the back. The stacks of cones need to be stacked up in the back of the school in the grass next to the shop classes (garage doors).

Details

All tables and chairs can be broken down from packet pick-up, snack table, water station on the far side of school, and the timing area. They will go inside the storage closet inside the school between the ROTC room and wrestling room. There should be stacks of tables and carts for the chairs to go on.

Clean Up - Picking up tents & extra food and any other extra supplies

Details

Break down tents (packet pick-up, snack table, water station). Tents, food, and anything else that is not a table or chair can be brought into the school via the middle side door of the building down to room 218 (Loeffler's classroom).
