Volunteers will be helping clean up the Battleship deck after the expo and pasta dinner. Also you will be helping vendors carry their items from the ship to their vehicle.

You will be directing runners on course in a location where the 5K and 10K split from the half and full. This is a very important spot!

Front and Queen Street under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge

You will be standing at closed roads making sure the road closure barricades stay in place and traffic does not enter the race route

Dawson, Wright, Meares and Marstellar (in between the 17 exit and Greenfield Street)

You will be directing runners from Front to Greenfield Street and then back on front from Greenfield. This is an out and back portion of the race that is important.

As runners are leaving Greenfield Lake - these volunteers will be getting the runners on the side walk at West Lake Shore by the Amphitheater

This volunteer will be directing runner from the Sidewalk around Greenfield Lake to Willard Street

Willard and Burnette

You will be directing runners on course from Willard back onto Lake Shore dr to head back downtown

You will be directing runners on course at the end of the race

NUN and FRONT St.

You will be directing runners on course toward the end of the race

Dock and Water St.

You will be directing runners on course at the end of the race

Market and Water St. and Market and Front

This volunteer group will be working the first Aid station when runners turn into the Battleship. Your job will be to give out fluids, nutrition, and assist with direction of the runners in this location. You will then need to clean up your aid station.
