Details

Distribute race packets to runners on the morning of the race. Hold gear for runners during their race.

Elkhorn Cabin at Tahazouka Park

During Race

Water Station #1 High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners, direct 1/2 marathon and 10K runners to continue on. Make sure 5K runners turn around and head back to the park. Stay on location to cheer on returning 10K & 1/2 Marathon Runners.

All of the supplies will be there by 6:30 am, you will just need to set up the table and set up water bottles for runners. Pick up trash around area that runners throw down.

Location

Cowboy Trail at the 5 K turnaround.

Water Station #2 High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners, direct 1/2 marathon and 10K runners off 25th street onto Cowboy Trail. Stay on location to cheer on returning 10K & 1/2 Marathon Runners.

All of the supplies will be there by 6:30 am, you will just need to set up the table and set up water bottles for runners. Pick up trash around area that runners throw down.

Water Station located at Cowboy Trail entrance off 25th street.

Water Station #3 High Priority

Details

Cheer on half-marathon runners at the 5 & 9-mile marks.

All of the supplies will be there by 6:30 am, you will just need to set up the table and set up water bottles for runners. Pick up trash around area that runners throw down.

Location

Broken Bridge Road/Cowboy Trailer near parking lot.

Water Station #4 High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners, direct them off the trail and onto Broken Bridge Road.

All of the supplies will be there by 6:30 am, you will just need to set up the table and set up water bottles for runners. Pick up trash around area that runners throw down.

Location

On the Cowboy Trail just past Mile Marker #7 at the Half Marathon turnaround point near Broken Bridge Road.

Finish Line Water Station Medium Priority

No volunteer spots remaining.

This volunteer task is full.

Details

Cheer on runners as they cross the finish line and hand out water/food at the end of the race. This means you would set up and hand out the food and drinks at the finish line for the runners. We will provide the tables, food, supplies, etc. we just need your help organizing it and keeping it stocked as items are used.

All of the supplies will be there by 6:30 am, you will just need to set up the table and set up water bottles for runners. Pick up trash around area that runners throw down.

Finish line near Elkhorn Cabin in Tahazouka Park

Human Cone #1

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners at the start as you send them to the east. Then turn your attention to the finishers as they are coming from the south and direct them to the finish line.

Location

At the intersection of McKinley and the trail cut off that goes by Woodland Cabin to the south main trail.

Human Cone #2

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners and direct them to turn around at the cone and head back down the trail.

Location

1st Street Parking Lot with Big Bang Boom Boom

Human Cone #3

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners and direct them east on the trail to the parking lot. And then continuing west upon their return.

Location

Trail along the river, at the intersection of trails where the trail goes east to 1st street or west along the river.

Human Cone #12

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Cheer on runners at the beginning of the race and tell them to continue west on the trail. Upon their return, direct them north on the trail to the finish line.
