Route Directiors High Priority

Details

We need volunteers on the 5k route to hold a sign showing runners which direction to go. This is needed when runners need to make a turn in the road. Pair up with a friend to guide the Lydia's 5k runners and cheer them on!
Pre-race meeting email will be going out to all of our volunteers this week! This will be a great time to meet the other volunteers and learn where you will be placed on the route.

Parking Lot Assistant High Priority

You must be 16-80 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Parking lot assistants will help set up cones, and be assigned to tell cars where to park. A yellow safety vest will be provided. The St. Martin's Church parking lot is where Lydia's 5k participants and onlookers will be parking. This is a pavement parking lot we will need our Parking Lot Assistants to fill up each row before moving onto the next one. 16+

Details

We are looking for a couple of trucks or a small box truck to help transport tables, trash bins, pop-up tents and decorations approx. 1 mile at 6:30am on 9/21/24. Then at 1:00pm on 9/21/24 have the items brought back to Lydia's House of Hope. We do have a set up and breakdown crew, but the more the merrier!

There are two water stations on Lydia's Run 5k. Prior to the race a table, water, cups as well as trash will be set up. Your job will be to give runners water and cheer them on!
