Steam Mill Aid Station

Details

You'll help runners/hikers refill their bottles/packs and give out snacks. You'll keep track of all runners as they arrive at this aid station. This location has a potable water spigot to easily fill up the water jugs. The hard cutoff for this Aid Station is 11:20am. Once the sweepers come through, please pack up the supplies.

Water Pick-Up

Details

Pick-up the water jugs and tables from the water-only aid station on Shotwell Road. You'll bring that back to the start/finish at Kittle Day Use Area. (you'll need to have an SUV or truck to pick-up/drop-off supplies)

Finishline Squad

Hang out at the finish line and help us give out medals to the finishers!

17M Course Sweeper

Details

Please come at 9am for the start of the race to follow the final runner/hiker around the 17M course. Please plan on being out there until 3pm. You'll take down the markers/arrows at each turn. Please bring a large pack to carry out markers!

10K Course Sweeper

Details

You'll follow the last 10K hiker starting at 9am only sweep a very short part of the trail (we'll give you specific instructions)! You can expect to be out there for about an hour.

5k Course Sweeper

You'll follow the last 5K hiker starting at 9am and take down the 5K course markers! You can expect to be out there for about an hour!

Second Sweeper - 5K

This volunteer task is full.

Details

We do second sweeps of our race courses to make sure all of the ribbons and trash are clear. Please come out anytime on Monday to do a second sweep of the 5K course.

Second Sweep - 17M

Volunteer Photographer - 17M Course

Bring your own camera or just use your phone. We will share your photos with the runners/hikers after the race and give you credit for the pics! You'll take pictures out along the 17M course, shortly after the Steam Mill Aid Station to get those beautiful pictures along the river.

Volunteer Photographer - 10K/5K Course

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Bring your own camera or just use your phone. We will share your photos with the runners/hikers after the race and give you credit for the pics! You'll take pictures out along the 10K/5K course, just a few minutes from Squatch HQ, to get those beautiful pictures along the river.
