4th Annual Knights Of Columbus 5K & Oktoberfest

These volunteers will help the race director with anything needed at the live music stage, food trucks, the racecourse or kids zone. Shifts are three hours but volunteers can stay longer.

These volunteers, who must be 21-years old or older, will check identification and administer wristbands to Madonna 5K participants and Oktoberfest visitors who qualify to purchase alcoholic drink tickets at the registration table or the beer and wine garden. Some of these volunteers will also be posted at various sections throughout the festival to ensure there is NO underage drinking.

These adult volunteers who must be 21 years old or older will pour beer or wine in exchange for drink tickets. They must also take an off-premises certification course online to pour alcohol prior to the event. Volunteers will be sent more info upon signing up for this volunteer position.

These volunteers will hold signs, ring cow bells, and cheer on the participants along the 3.1 mile course.

Sometime between 7pm-7: 30 pm, volunteers will begin assessing the crowd and start putting away unoccupied tables and chairs. Event ends at 9 pm. As guests leave, volunteers will put away the remaining tables and chairs, and clean up the field of any litter.

These volunteers will register last-minute participants, take payments, and hand out bib numbers and chips to runners.

These volunteers will assist Time My Run company in setting up and breaking down the finish line area, checking time of finishers as they cross, collecting race chips after runners cross the finish line and other duties essential to Time My Run.

We need adult volunteers to direct traffic as visitors for the 5K & Oktoberfest drive onto property looking for parking, and to prevent cars from entering from Hoym Street during the race.

These volunteers will hand out water cups and or water bottles to runners and walkers along the 3.1 mile course. There will be stations at miles 1, 2 and the finish line.
