On Saturday 10/5 (The day prior to the race), support a table in the parking lot of Temple Sha'arey Shalom at 78 S. Springfield Avenue between 12:30-2 p.m. Volunteers will take last minute sign ups for the race, or allow runners to pick up their packets if they have already signed for them.
Volunteers will be provided with the runner lists and need to check off people if they come to get their packets.

please note that the location has changed to the parking lot of Temple Sha'arey Shalom at 78 S. Springfield Avenue between 12:30-2 p.m. Volunteers should arrive by 12:15 to familiarize themselves with the bags and how to check off entrants.

Race Day Sign-up High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

On 10/6 from 7:30-9, stay at Jonathan Dayton and man a table to be able to take day of race registrations. Will need to take cash payments & possibly enter data into website for racer tracking.

On 10/6 from 7:30-9, stay at Jonathan Dayton and man a table to be able to hand out shirts and promo bags for registrants that did not pick up their numbers and promo items early (as well as those registering on race day)

You must be 10-75 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Arrive between 7:30 and 8 a.m. to Jonathan Dayton parking lot. You will be taken to stand (or sit- please bring your own seating) at one of 3 key areas on the course with signage to indicate to runners how to correctly follow the course. You will need to stay in the area until the race concludes at approximately 9:45.

Sponsor Sign Set-up High Priority

October 6, 2019

Details

On 10/6, arrive at Jonathan Dayton High-School by 7:15 a.m. and meet at the concession area for the turf football field. A race coordinator will have sponsor lawn signs to hand out which need to be placed at various areas around the course. These areas will be communicated to the volunteers. They must be between a sidewalk and the curb, or along the temples front property on Shunpike road. Once signs are positioned, this task will be complete.

Fun Run Set-up High Priority

Details

Help with the set-up of the course and obstacles for the 1 mile fun run on Sunday Morning. Activities will be assisting in putting out 1 or more of the 6 fund run obstacles and then manning a post for the fun run while the participants are going through the course. Expected timeframe is 8 a.m. start for set-up and 9:45-10:15 support on the course
