Athlete Check in/ Body Marking/ Swim

Details

You will be assisting athletes who need to pick up their race packets on the morning of the race. Answering any questions they may have for race day. You will also assisting with the body marking of Athletes, and then heading over to the pool to assist in the swim area. You will not have to get into the pool, but will be stationed around the pool in various areas to help keep things moving along.

Transition

Details

You will be checking to ensure athletes have their bike numbers on their bikes and they are body marked. You are also ensuring ATHLETES ONLY are in the transition area. Cheer them on and get them excited about their race. At the end of the race you will be checking to ensure Athletes are leaving with their correct bike.

Bike Course

Details

You will placed along the bike course to help with traffic at some intersections. Some of these roads will also have a police presence. Please be aware that we will do our best to pair you up so you are not out there alone. You will be cheering on the athletes as they pass you. You are also out there if they are in need of assistance along the course.

Run Course

Details

You will be placed at a location along the course to cheer on, and ensure the athletes are following the course. We will also be assigning a task for helping with the start of the DU (7:30 start time, same time as the 1st swimmer goes into water) and the 5k (8AM).

Finish Line

You will be handing out water, medals, and removing timing chips.

Food

You will be assisting with giving food out to the athletes once they have completed the race.

You will be helping with breaking down everything from the event.
