Course Guide High Priority

Details

You will be assigned to a location on the course where you will direct the runners.

Refreshments High Priority

March 10, 2024

This volunteer task is full.

Details

Refreshment volunteers will work under the direction of the Refreshment Captain. You will unpack and display refreshments prior to the race finish.
You will also be responsible for clean up and packing of refreshments after the end of the race.
As participants come through the refreshment area, you will manage the distribution of items to each participant to ensure that all participants have a chance to get post race refreshments.

Lead Bike High Priority

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

You will either:
* lead the race and have participants follow you along the course
* ride along the course to maintain the safety of the course and the participants


(Lead Bike Experience preferred)

Aid Station High Priority

Details

You will be setting up and maintaining the aid station located on the course near the start and finish line. The aid station will consist of snacks and bottled water.
Remind runners to not congregate at aid station while picking up items,
Keep area clean of garbage and debris discarded by runners.

Finish Line Volunteers Medium Priority

March 10, 2024

This volunteer task is full.

Details

Move finishers out of the finish line area. Assist with any other finish line tasks.

Water Stop High Priority

March 10, 2024

Details

You will be assigned to the water stop located about half way into each loop and will set up water and Gatorade to distribute to the runners as they pass.
Instructions for mixing up the Gatorade should be included in the mixing container.

Distribution of grab and go bags Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Assist with distribution of grab and go bags to finishers, maintain mask wearing and social distancing of all in the general area. Assist runners with leaving the area after the race is over.

Clean Up Medium Priority

March 10, 2024

Details

Volunteers are needed to help clean up tables, chairs, boxes of race supplies and pack them on the truck. Light lifting is required.
You will also be asked to sweep the entire area for garbage that has blown away from the aid station.

Anywhere I am needed High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

You'll be assigned to an area where help is needed most. If you are only available for part of the day please indicate what hours you are available when the question is asked when you register. A minimum of 3 hours is requested.
MORNING AND AFTERNOON SHIFTS AVAILABLE!

Bib Pick up-Not running the race High Priority

THIS JOB IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT RUNNING THE RACE.

Volunteers will look up participant names on a list and determine their "Bib#" and give the participant their bib#. Make sure they check their personal information for any errors. Please report any edits to the Captain of Registration.

Bib Pick Up-Running the race High Priority

Medal Handout High Priority

Handing out medals at the finish line /taking photos for the finishers and collecting the medals back as donations
