Race Course Guides serve an important role in that they make sure participants traverse the correct route on their way to the finish line. Course guides stand at key turns and complicated transitions throughout the racecourse and point participants in the correct direction. Responsibilities include yelling, pointing, and cheering. 7AM - 11:30AM

Unpacking and Pre-bagging of participant refreshments. Responsibilities include unloading large boxes of refreshment items from distribution trucks, unpacking items and bagging items into individual bags.

10K Water Stop Operation - Saturday (iRUNthisISLAND Volunteer)

Details

The 10K FUN Run have one water stop on the course which will need staffing. Water stop staff help open bottles of water, pour into cups and hand to runners as they pass during the race. Other responsibilities would include helping to keep the immediate area around the water stop clean of crushed cups and communicating with race officials in the event someone needed help along the course.
