START AND FINISH LINE WORKERS

CHECK IN: At the Race Tent
HOURS: 7:45 a.m - 11:00 a.m.

JOB DUTIES:
START LINE: Move runners/walkers to the start line. Help direct/keep walkers to the
rear of the pack. Make sure no strollers or dogs are on the line to run
the course.
FINISH LINE: Direct runners towards the finish shoot/ finish mat. Hand out water
bottles to participants . Direct participants off the course back to the
Race Tent area.

JOB SKILLS: Loud clear voice, outgoing personality, no lifting, able to walk and stand
for about 1.5 hours.

THERE IS NO RAIN DATE. RACE WILL RUN RAIN OR SHINE.
VOLUNTEERS WILL BE GIVEN A RACE TECH SHIRT.
ADVOCATING HOPE, INC. will provide volunteers with water and if it rains, a rain poncho.

Location

Road side of the Community Center.

COURSE WORKERS High Priority

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

CHECK IN: At the Race Tent
HOURS: 7:45 a.m - 11:00 a.m.

JOB DUTIES: Direct runners and walkers keeping them on course using voice and hand signals.

JOB SKILLS: Loud clear voice, outgoing personality, no lifting, able to walk and stand
for about 1.5 hours.

THERE IS NO RAIN DATE. RACE WILL RUN RAIN OR SHINE.
VOLUNTEERS WILL BE GIVEN A RACE TECH SHIRT.
ADVOCATING HOPE, INC. will provide volunteers with water and if it rains, a rain poncho.

Location

Stationed along the 5K course at corners and intersections. (road is closed during race)

PRE-REGISTERED RACE CHECK-IN High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

HOURS: 6:45 a.m - 9:00 a.m.


JOB DUTIES: Hand out race bibs and t-shirts to registered participants. The pre-
registered list will show registrants name, bib# and t-shirt size. Cross
off the registrants name when bib/t-shirt is picked up.

JOB SKILLS: Outgoing personality, no lifting.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE GIVEN A RACE TECH SHIRT.

SAME DAY REGISTRATION

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

CHECK IN: At the Race Tent
HOURS: 6:45 a.m - 9:00 a.m.

JOB DUTIES: Assist registrants with on-line registration this is done via cell phone or our computers, hand out race bibs and t-shirts to registered participants.

JOB SKILLS: Outgoing personality, basic computer/cell phone knowledge, no lifting.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE GIVEN A RACE TECH SHIRT.
