Sunday Morning - Register last minute runners, hand-out bibs and giveaways (if any) to registrants. Be sure registration forms are legible. Volunteer is planning to run in the race and thus will only work this table until 9:30 or so.

Race Day Bib Pickup & Registration Table (NOT Running Race) High Priority

Details

Sunday Morning - Register last minute runners, hand-out bibs and giveaways (if any), and turn over day-of-race receipts to Assistant Race Director or Race Director. Be sure registration forms are legible. Volunteer is NOT planning to run in the race and thus can work the table right up the race start time. May need to work with timing company to help get day-of registrants in computer system.

Course Marshalls & Crossing Guards

Lead Course Marshal High Priority

Details

Must be able to direct all Course Marshals and Crossing Guards to their respective posts before runners arrive and explain what needs to be done during the race at that respective location. Explain First Aid and Emergency contact procedures. Is the first point of contact for all Course Marshalls and Crossing Guards.

Crossing Guard 1 & 13 (CG1) (CG13) High Priority

Details

Station: Roosevelt Extension (Road) at south end of mall area.

- (CG1) Direct runners from the mall straight across Roosevelt Extension (crosswalk) to enter the woods.

- (CG13) Direct runners diagonally across Roosevelt Extension upon exiting the woods to head to the finish line in front of the Administration Building.

- CG1 and CG13 will be performed by the same person.

- Direct runners to over bridge and to turn right on trail along west side of Geyser Creek.

Must run and review the entire course to verify that it is still properly marked (ensure course marking has not been tampered with). Early Sunday morning to allow enough time if corrections need to be made.
