This event can't happen without our outstanding volunteers, so a big thank you in advance.

Whether you are thinking about swimming across the Hudson River in the future, eager to see what happens before, during and after an event, or just want to give back to the community, this is a great way to connect with the community. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and refreshments.

Kayakers

Kayakers High Priority

At least 48 more volunteers needed.

Details

Our kayakers are imperative to the swim. Your involvement in this event ensures that our swimmers are safe.There will be a short WebEx meeting prior to the event to answer any questions and explain your role. We will also have the Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown Fire and police department, Westchester & Rockland County Marine Unit, and Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Pleasure Boaters

Pleasure Boaters High Priority

Details

The Lighthouse Swim is looking for experienced pleasure boaters to assist with the three mile swim across the Hudson River. There will be a WebEx Meeting a few days before the event to review your role and answer any questions. We will also have the assistance of the Westchester & Rockland County Marine Units, Coast Guard Auxiliary & Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown Fire Marine Units.
