Duties: Direct runners and walkers keeping them on course using voice and hand signals.
Skills: Loud clear voice, outgoing personality. No lifting. Able to walk and stand in one place for about 1 hour.

Stationed along 5K course at corners and/or road intersections

Water Stop Worker High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Job Duties – Fill water cups, hand water to runners, pick up trash; direct runners and walkers keeping them on course using voice and hand signals.
Skills – Able to walk and stand in one area for about 1 hour. May have to lift and transport 40 lb. water jug.

Finish Line Workers High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Job Duties – Help with timing at the finish line
Skills – Call out numbers or manually punch them in via timing machine at the finish line. Reports to race timer.

Day-of registration worker High Priority

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Duties: Collect Money from race day registrants, make change if needed. Make sure that registration form is filled out completely and correctly. Assign/hand out bibs and T-shirts

Pre-registration worker High Priority

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

Duties: Check in pre-registered participants and give them assigned bib and T-shirt

Details

Duties: 3 bikers needed to either 1) lead out runners, 2) follow the last walker (sweep), or 3) ride along Rt. 9 to ensure racer safety while running on the sidewalk/along Rt. 9 back to brewery
