Details

Registration Volunteers help register new runners on race day, hand out extra bibs and pins, and answer general questions.

Runner Warm Ups

Details

These volunteers help the runners warm up by doing simple stretches or exercises just prior to their race. Warm-ups will happen right before the 50 and 75 yard dash and then again before the ¼, ½ and 1 mile races. Stretch and warm-up suggestions will be provided, but feel free to add your own.

Starter

Details

The Starter works directly with the Coordinator and other volunteers to ensure everyone is ready to begin the next race. When everyone is ready they blow the whistle!

Bib Tearer

Details

The bib tearer removes the bottom portion of each runners bib after they have crossed the finish line. They are responsible for keeping them in the correct order and making important notes that will be used for tracking race results.

Pacer

Details

Pacers run the 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile races with the runners. They make sure runners stay on course and encourage the runners to finish the race strong.

Course Marshal

Details

The Course Marshal is stationed on the course at the half-way point for the 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile races. The Course Marshal is there to help the runners stay on course and run a fair race.

Time Keeper

Details

The time keepers operate the stop watch and record the times for each runner in the 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile races.
