Details

The duties of a course monitor is to direct the participants in the right direction along the routes and to cheer for the participants. Monitors must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time.ALL VOLUNTEERS should make every effort to attend the volunteers orientation meeting on June 9 at 6:30 at the Chamber of Commerce conference room. Entrance is at the back of the building at 911 Walnut. On race day, ALL VOLUNTEERS will meet at the gazebo in Fuqua Park at 7:00 a.m. (June 25, 2016).

Water Station Volunteer

The duties of the water station volunteers are to hand participants a cup of water; a cool wet paper towel; encourage participants; pick up the used cups/towels and dispose of properly. Supplies will be furnished and will be picked up at the volunteers meet or at the gazebo. ALL VOLUNTEERS should make every effort to attend the volunteers orientation meeting on June 9 at 6:30 at the Chamber of Commerce conference room. Entrance is at the back of the building at 911 Walnut. On race day, ALL VOLUNTEERS will meet at the gazebo in Fuqua Park at 7:00 a.m. (June 25, 2016).
