Packet Pick Up Medium Priority

Details

This task will require approximately 4 volunteers and may include the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers are responsible for packet assembly, working with the timers on bib and timing chip assignments and getting the correct packets to the racers. Volunteers must be willing to use their cell phones for the Race Day Check In app and learn how to use the app for racer check in.

Race Day Registration and Check In Medium Priority

Details

This role involves managing pre-race activities such as providing any race day registration information to the race timers and race director and making sure all racers have their packets to include race bibs with timing tags and swim caps.

Race Day Finish Line Medium Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

This role is responsible for handing out any finisher medals, direct racers to post race water or food, connecting finishers who may need medical attention to medical personnel, and serve as a runner for results to Race Director for awards ceremony.

Race Day Logistics Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This role requires several volunteers and is responsible for overseeing race day set up, water stop(s) and break down. This role may recruit help for these tasks as they need to be broken down in regard to responsibility so as not to overwhelm the volunteer team. Volunteers in this task will be required to arrive to the event 2 hours early and stay until all event assets are collected/picked up and delivered to the Race Director.

Transition Area High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

It is the place where the "transition" from swimming to biking, and from biking to running, takes place. The ONLY people allowed inside the transition area are "marked" athletes (they will have their race numbers on their arms and legs) and event staff (you)

Transition area volunteers make sure that ONLY marked athletes and their equipment are inside the transition area and that their bikes are also marked with the same numbers that are on their arms and legs.

You also guide athletes in and out of the transition area, making sure they use the correct entry/exit during the race

The transition area is the hub of excitement and activity and fun to watch!

Course monitor Cyclist (Bike Course) High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Course monitors are probably the most important safety aspect of a triathlon and are the main cheerleaders for the athletes.

We are looking for Cyclist to help on the bike route


Highly recommend course monitors wear brightly colored clothing to be easily identified by athletes

Course monitor for the Run portion High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Would be highly beneficial if these volunteers have a Golf Cart or Rover

Aid Stations High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Duties include any first aid need, hand out water, snacks, and take lots of photo's.

Also general support such as moving finishers along the route to the finish line

Finish Line - Medals and Awards Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Come Join the Excitement as Athletes cross the finish line, the more we have cheering and the finish line the better the experience is for all involved.
