Meet Admin Low Priority

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

- Checks in teams during coach's meetings
- collects payment or indicates to invoice after meet
- Distributes coach's packets (order of events, meal tickets, maps etc..)"

Clerk of the Course Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

- Assists in escorting heat/competitors to holding and clerking areas.
- Ensures competitors stay off the infield
- Makes sure competitors stay off the track during event
- Assists in other areas as required

General Volunteer High Priority

Clean Up Volunteers High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist with Tear Down of the event including trash pick up, putting away equipment,

Awards Clerk Low Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

After competition winners are announced, awards clerk keeps track of which competitors come forward to claim their award, gives the award to the representative or entire relay team, and records who claimed awards

Track Assistance

Check-In Clerk - Track High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Checks in registered teams for races, assigns heat and lane based on pre-seeding, gives hip numbers, records scratches & communicates check-in status to race officials prior to event start

Heating Clerk High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Gathers competitors who have checked in with heating clerk for event before race starts, explains rules/nuances, arranges heat and lane assignments and keeps groups in order so there is smooth transition from one heat to the next

Exchange Zone Judges Medium Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Exchange zone judges ensure proper handoff of baton within designated zones of relay race
- Judge reports to assigned zone before start of each relay
- Place relay teams on the track in correct lanes and explain the exchange zones
- During race, observes exchanges to ensure they are in the zone
- If no violation, wave white flag after exchange is completed
- If a violation is observed, waive red flag after exchange is completed. Report violations to the meet official






Hurdle Crew Chief High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

- Directs hurdle crew to assist with below:
- Ensures hurdles are at correct location on track
- Ensures hurdles are at the correct height for race
- Signals starter/timer when hurdles have been properly set before race starts
-After race, resets hurdles hurdles to correct position
- Removes hurdles from the track immediately following races

Hurdle Crew Member High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

- Following the direction of the hurdle chief, assists with placing and setting hurdles for each hurdle race
- Assists with resetting hurdle position and alignment after each hurdle race
- Assists with removing hurdles from track immediately following race

Starting Block Crew Low Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

- Place and move block cart with blocks in the start area of each race
- remove blocks as necessary from the track after the start of the race
- replace spikes on blocks, if necessary
- assist athletes needing help with blocks as necessary

Field Assistance

Long Jump Official High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Ensures long jump pit is prepared for competition, judges take off for fair or foul attempts, signals if the attempt is fare or foul, announces the distance measured.

Long Jump Assistant High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Under direction of long jump official, checks in competitors, calls out order, records results per official's ruling. Will also assist in measuring each legal jump from the pit as well as raking the pit between jumps ensuring a flat, smooth surface.

High Jump Official High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Reviews rules of event, ensures area is prepared and ready for warm-ups, checks equipment, judges jumps, measures and ensures bar is at proper height

High Jump Assistant High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Under direction of high jump official, checks in competitors, keeps order, calls out order, records results per official's ruling. Also assists official in raising and setting standards and resetting the bar as necessary.

Pole Vault Official High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Reviews rules of event, ensures area is prepared and ready for warm-ups, checks equipment, judges jumps, measures and ensures bar is at proper height and standards set appropriately

Pole Vault Assistant High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Under the direction of the pole vault official, will assist with checking in competitors, keeps jump order, calls out order, records results per official's ruling. Will also be responsible for setting standards and resetting the bar as needed.

Shot Put Official High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Reviews rules of event, ensures area is prepared and ready for warm-ups, checks equipment and throwing field, ensures throwing implements are proper size and weight, judges throws, measures and announces distances

Shot Put Assistant High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Under the direction of the shot put official, assists in checking in competitors, keeps throwing order, calls out order, records results per official's ruling. Will also assist with measuring throws and returning implements back to competitors.

Discus Official High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Reviews rules of event, ensures area is prepared and ready for warm-ups, checks equipment and throwing field, ensures throwing implements are proper size and weight, judges throws, measures and announces distances

Discus Assistant High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Under the direction of the discus official, assists in checking in competitors, keeps throwing order, calls out order, records results per official's ruling. Will also assist with measuring throws and returning implements back to competitors.
