You are the rabbit at the dog track! The carrot for the horse! Ride your bike as quickly through the course as you can. This gives the very fast runners at the front something to chase and encourages them to go even faster!

It is important for you to ride the course before the race once or twice as we hope you will be riding fast enough that you will not have much time to think about the directions.

Be the tortoise, not the hare! :)

This person will start at the end of the 10K, following the last person out. You are sweeping the course and letting the race marshalls along the course know that they are released from their duty. YOU are the end of the race pack. You will also call for support if a runner is unable to complete the course.
