Help set up 10K, 20K and 30K course and start/finish area the day before race. There is an optional staying overnight at Champoeg Yurts rented by ORRC.

Aid station # 1 is located at 1.5 mark after left onto bike path and aid station.

Your aid station is 1/4 mile from start/finish serving both outgoing and returning runners from two sides of the aid station..

Aid Station # 2

Parking and Finish Line Food

Details

Direct traffic into parking lot using predesignated slots until 9 a.m. Then move go to Pioneer Pavilion to help with food

Then report to parking lot or main gate. Then at 9 a.m. report to Pioneer Pavilion food area.

Work registration desk till 9:15 a.m. Then at 9:15, move to finish line and congratulate finishing runners/walkers.

Event Setup - Same Day - then Floater

Event teardown, cleanup, load and unload equipment truck

Registration assistance and Pavilion Floater

Same day registration and pass out bibs till 9:15 a.m. Then report to race director and help out as floater where needed.

Main Champoeg Park Gate And Kid's Run

March 2, 2024

Details

Track number of volunteer and carpool cars that have free parking. Collect $5 for non volunteers and non carpool cars. Be in contact with parking lot attendants and shuttle drive to determine parking availability. Direct vehicle to appropriate parking lot, either main or Oak.

Then at 9:30 a.m, report to Pavilion and help out in the kid's run at 10:15 a.m.

Report to main gate shortly after 6 a.m.. Then at 9:15 a.m., return to race director at Pioneer Pavilion for kids run.

Volunteer Check-In and Kids' Run

Check in all volunteers. Work with race director to ensure that all positions are filled. Where vacancies exist, then notify race director to move floater to required position.
