Tasks:
-assist with downgrading race events
-assist with finding bibs
-assist with Expo registration

Race Day - Sunday April 26

Course Marshal - Half Marathon Course High Priority

Minimum met, 3 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Be visible on the designated race course in designated location to help ensure runners are on the correct route and are encouraged in their run.

Note: You will be assigned to a specific location prior to the race and the course marshall coordinator will be in touch with you.

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Half Marathon Sweep High Priority

Details

This shift is from 7:30-12:00 PM.

You are walking in the Half marathon. You will complete the entire 13.1 miles.

You will be with the last participant to ensure that no racers are left behind. You will enter the stadium and complete the event.

You will be asked to wear an orange vest and carry a cell phone.

Race Day Bib Pick-up

Details

This shift is from 5:45 AM.- 8:00 AM inside the school gymnasium. If you are racing we will get you out in time.

You will be handing out race bibs/shirts to racers who have pre-paid for the event.

Race Day Volunteers -
Allen High School Gymnasium Entrance - The entrance to the gymnasium is at Turner and N 18th Street.

Roads around the school will be blocked off for the race. You will need to park in the Fairgrounds parking lot located @ 302 N. 17th Street.

Water Stop - Groups High Priority

April 26, 2026

Details

Set up and break down aid station, hand water to runners, clean up discarded cups from road.

NOTE: There are multiple locations & group assignments for this. The hydration coordinator will reach out with more details.

Pick up aid station supplies on Friday at LVRR Clubhouse or on Saturday at the J. Birney Crum Stadium. Will need someone to supply a small table.

We will be in touch regarding logistics.
