Packet Pick-Up Table High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers at the packet pick-up table are in charge of setting up the bib and t-shirt table and handing out to registered participants. Must be able to use a tablet. This task is from 7:30am - 9:00am. 3 volunteers needed.

During Race

Water Station High Priority

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers at the water tables will be in charge of setting up tables, pouring water into cups, handing off as runner come by, clean up disposed cups or trash, and clean up area at end of race. There are 3 water stations: Start/Finish line, at 1 mile mark, and 2 mile mark. 9 total volunteers needed.

Color bombers High Priority

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task will be in charge of bombing runners with colored powder as they run by the path and sweep up the area when the race is over. There are two "bombing" stations: at the 1.5 mile mark and at the finish line. 8-10 volunteers needed.

Security / First Aid Bikers High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task are people on bikes that will ride the trail to ensure runner safety. They will also have first aid kits to assist runners as needed. 2 volunteers needed. Must have own bike.

Medal Distributers

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task are in charge of handing out medals as participants enter the finish line. 2 volunteers needed

Finish Line Snacks/Water Medium Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task are in charge of setting up, supervising, and distributing water and snacks when participants pass the finish line. 2 volunteers needed.

Photographers Medium Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task will photograph the participants while they are on the trail and at the finish line. Photos should include before and after the race photos as events occur. 2 volunteers needed. Must have own camera.

After Race

Clean-up Crew

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers in this category assist in cleaning up any trash left in the park by participants, putting away supplies, and sweeping up color powder.
