Details

Volunteers assist with the directing of parking for the race. Volunteers need to be on site at Bear Creek Mountain Resort by 6:00 AM, and are welcome to stay during the race to help in other areas as needed. All volunteers get a T-shirt, Steelman Racing swag, and access to the food tent.

Swim Course Volunteer High Priority

Details

Volunteers assist with the entry and exit of athletes in and out of the water for the swim portion of the race. Volunteers are welcome to stay after the swim portion of the race to help direct athletes during the run as well. Volunteers must arrive before 8:30 AM. All volunteers get a T-shirt, Steelman Racing swag, and access to the food tent.

Bike Course Volunteer High Priority

Details

Volunteers assist with directing athletes during the bike portion of the race. Volunteers are needed throughout the bike course to ensure riders are going the correct way and are aware of upcoming changes / hazards on the course. Volunteers must arrive before 8:30 AM. All volunteers get a T-shirt, Steelman Racing swag, and access to the food tent.

Run Course Volunteer High Priority

Details

Volunteers assist with directing athletes during the run portion of the race. Volunteers are needed throughout the run course to ensure runners are going in the correct direction and make them aware of changes / hazards on the course. Volunteers must arrive before 8:00 AM. All volunteers get a T-shirt, Steelman Racing swag, and access to the food tent.

Details

Volunteers support athletes on the course by preparing water and Gatorade for athletes to pick up during the race. Volunteers must arrive before 7:00 AM . All volunteers get a T-shirt, Steelman Racing swag, and access to the food tent.

Post Race Clean-up High Priority

Details

Volunteers are needed to help tear down the race. Support is needed to remove and disassemble fencing, bike racks, load trucks, and other miscellaneous tasks. Lifting and moving heavy objects is associated with this volunteer position.
