Details

Volunteers are needed on Race Day between 6:00am and 11:00am. Exact times will vary depending on water stop assignment; please expect to be available for any 3-5 hour slot within that range.

Anyone under 18 must be with a guardian, or reach out to the race team at phillymayorscup@gmail.com for appropriate volunteer placement.

Pre-Approval Required. Confident mountain bikers or runners needed to sweep the 10K/Half Marathon trail course, making sure all runners complete the distance & helping collect course markings.

5K Course Sweeper

Sweep the 5K course from 9:00am-10:00am to ensure that all runners are off course before volunteers pack up. Must be able to run/walk 1 mile with a significant hill.

Road Course Sweep

Details

A course sweep for the 5 Mile and 10 Mile races is needed. The sweep can be on foot (running) or on bike, and will find the last runner on the road course, then shadow them on the way back to the plateau. There is not a time limit, and the course sweep should respect the pace of the final runner; this is a safety check to ensure that we know where the last runner is on course.

Details

Pre-approval required. One (1) volunteer is needed on race day from 5:30am-1:00pm to provide support as needed for any medical issues. We will have EMS on call, so no actual medical experience is necessary, although it does not hurt if you have it.
