Join a member of the 5K Committee during recess the week of May 8th to create posters to be used by other Support Squad members on the night of the event.

Night of the Event

Race Marshal

Details

Go to your designated location and help keep runners on course by pointing them in the right direction. Check in at the Registration booth in the gym. Child can participate with an adult. Plan to arrive by 5:45 PM.

National Anthem

You must be 9-15 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

We would love to have a group of students help us perform the National Anthem at the start of the race. Please let us know if you are interested in singing or playing an instrument.

Support Squad (night of the event)

At least 18 more volunteers needed.

Details

Grab a poster and a race course map and head out to cheer on our runners. Posters will be available for your use on the night of the event. Check in at the Registration booth in the gym. Plan to arrive by 5:45 PM.

Pizza Distribution

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help set up tables in the finish area and pass out pizza to participants and spectators.

After race clean-up

At least 20 more volunteers needed.

Details

This will involve table breakdown, course clean-up, trash collection. Please plan on staying until 8 PM.
