Responsible for directing event participants along the route, as well as holding up cross traffic when participants are still on the course.

Location

Locations will be assigned along the 5K course. You will be notified of your location 1 week prior to the event. There will be a mandatory briefing promptly at 8:00 a.m. near the Volunteer Registration Tent at West Chester East High School.

Provide each participant with a post race refreshment bag (you may be asked to help fill the bags that morning - example of contents may include water bottle, bag of pretzels, piece of fruit).

Assist in medical tent as needed throughout the event. Volunteer must be a medical professional. West Goshen EMT will be on site.

Direct traffic to the parking area and provide instructions for where to go once they have parked.

Locations will vary and may include West Chester East High School, CTDI, and nearby parking lots (details will be provided one week prior to event and you will be assigned to a specific parking area with specific instructions).

Help with set up of event.

West Chester East High School near the lacrosse fields (south side of the building).

7-9 am
Assist in registration tent - new registrations, distribute bibs, distribute tshirts, answer questions, direct participants, etc. Check in volunteers and direct them to their volunteer assignment.

8:30-10
Fill water cups and distribute to participants as they pass the Water Station area. Clean up water station area and race course in the vicinity after participants pass through (dropped cups on course).

Location

Intersection of Cavalier Lane & Farmington Lane (West Chester, PA).
(Please do not park there or in the neighborhood. You will need to park at the High School and walk over).
