Upstate Race Series will need volunteers for a 3 hour block during the initial setup, packet pickup, and through race registration cleanup.

Setup - setting up tents, tables, timing equipment
Packet Pickup - handing out race bibs and event materials
Cleanup - Cleaning up tent, tables, timing equipment

Volunteer Requirement
- Lift 40 pounds
- Smart Phone w/ Internet
- Downloaded Race Day Check-in App.

Pour Beer

Details

Pouring Beer - Please arrive about 45 minutes prior to the race start. About 15 minutes before the race we will have a table to pour beer from the keg. Ideally you will pour two beers and then pump the keg 5 times. Line up the beers on the table and when the race starts you can hand out beer to individual and relay runners as they come in for consecutive laps.

Finisher Participant Management

Details

The role of post-race volunteers will be responsible for CHEERING on our finishers while handing out any medals or rewards, collecting race chips and distributing food and water. Their jobs are to handle the events that take place after the race is completed and before the tear-down and clean-up phase.
