Help with pre-race setup tasks. Be available to direct participants where to register/park/find restrooms and answer general questions to anyone who needs it. May be asked to run messages out to race staff, etc. so some physical movement may be required.

Meet in front of Entrance 5A at 7:00am.

Saturday Bib Pick-up High Priority

Details

Distribute race bibs to participants.
Meet in front of Entrance 5A at 7:00am, estimated finish whenever a non-racer volunteer comes to trade off (you will have time to warm-up and get to the start line if you are racing).

Saturday Non-Racer Volunteer High Priority

Details

Be available for volunteer tasks that happen during the event. You will not be able to participate in the event if you sign up for this task - includes transfer of extra shirts to finish area and helping with finish-line tasks during the event.
Meet in front of Entrance 5A at 8:15am, estimated finish around 9:30am.

Large Vehicle Volunteer High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

We need at least 1 person with a large vehicle (pick-up truck preferred, but van or other larger vehicle would work). Task would be to haul large items (trash cans, tents, tables, boxes, etc) to/from the race area to the buildings.
Meet in front of Entrance 5A at 7am and plan to stay through the end of post-race cleanup.

First Responder High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield events are now required to have first responders on-site during all events. You will be agreeing to be present and ready to respond to any medical needs should they arise.
Time and location will be coordinated separately.

Course/Finish Monitor Low Priority

Details

This is a task for someone not participating in the race. You will be assigned a location along the course or at the finish line to help monitor for participant safety & wellbeing.
Arrive by 8:30am to be given assignment/direction and plan to stay until at least 10am (or until all participants have completed the race).

Post-Race Clean-up High Priority

Details

Help with post-race takedown and clean-up of all race areas. Please arrive by 9:45 and expect to stay until approximately 11am.
