Shirt Pickup, Race CheckIn-July 3 Overlook

Details

2 shifts, 2 people each. Ideal for technically inclined since using an app. Will hand out shirts, race packets, bib numbers and check people into the race. Easy and fun volunteer slot.

Notes: James will train each shift on the CheckIn app and will be available for any questions. James Harris will do setup and tear down. Shelly to bring up race packets from Women's Club closet. Tracy to bring shirts.

Stage all chairs, tables, tents, trash cans, trash bags, fans, power cords, etc. Alan Wilson will provide direction. 6pm at the Community Center.

Race Bag Prep July 3 at 2:30pm

Details

Time: 2:30pm in Activity room downstairs at clubhouse. Stuff about 150 race bags with inserts, giveaway items. Shelly Harris to provide supplies and inserts. Estimate for two people this should take 1 to 2 hours to complete.

Bring stuffed bags will be brought up to runner check-in table at Overlook entrance.

Watermelon Mama

Details

Coordinates the refrigeration of 20 watermelons and bringing to race site. Will have coolers at the watermelon tent, but won’t hold 20! May use garbage bags with ice.

Ice Wrangler

Gather ice for the event coolers for beverages and watermelon. Coolers are handled by others.

Course Crew: Cones-Turnaround Table -Course Clean Up

Details

Setup and collect cones on Boat Ramp Road from Sheriff's delivery. Setup table at turnaround and then cleanup any trash on course after last person.

Event Day Setup

Details

Setup tables, tents, chairs, trash, fans, hose and power. Alan Wilson will give guidance on placement of items.

Start-Finish Structure

Setup and tear-down of start-finish structure. If possible, move structure to festival area after race. Nikita Auffrey is providing the structure.

Rhonda is doing this. Setup speakers and microphone for Start-Finish Area. Play music and work with announcer, John Cochell. Provide announcements as needed.

Water / Audio at Turnaround

Setup and handout water to runners and walkers at turnaround. Water, cooler, cups will be provided. Ensure audio is playing (will have speaker with music. Any issues just need to be reported. Will provide contact on race day). Please clean up area after the race is complete. Setup and manage audio at Turnaround. Troubleshoot as needed.

Water Station at RV Park
