We would like to recruit 2-3 people to help with chute setup, banners and all equipment related/needed for the next day. If we have 203 people we can be done in about an hour or so. Tentative start is 5:30 PM.at Casey's in Elk Point, Exit 18 off I-29/ Call me at 605-421-5050 to finalize details. Thanks

Same day setup

Details

2-3 people needed to stock coolers, set up tables for registration, load table for the event to trailers,, etc. General gopher work. 7am- 9 am and 9 am-11 am and tear down. Need 2-3 people per time period and 3 or more for tear down after 11:15 am. A great opportunity for National Honor Society and boy/girl scouts or 4-H clubs to lend a hand and receive hours for service . which are invaluable for scholarship applications! We will never turn down extra help!

Road crew

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

traffic control with 2-3 atv's and vehicles-7 am - 9 am.
also seeking about 6 volunteers to man corners and traffic during the event. Safety meeting 7::00 am, first crews our then post on corners and roads.
7-9 am need 3-4 people- on vehicles-
8 am need 5-6 people on roads for event.
10 am - 11:30 am load out crew- tables coolers etc.

water stations for runners

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

setup tables at 5-6 stations and hand out Gatorade for runners/walkers. An easy task but critical for a successful event. 2-3 YOUTH and 1 adult per station- more iare always welcome.

Team Polaris

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

we really appreciated the excellent job of the Polaris volunteers, who ran the roads to keep all safe. We would like to have them back 2 atvs or other vehicles.
8 am- 10:30 am.
Others who have an atv are also welcome -
3-4 people on roads for this task is great.

Photography

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

The pictures would be taken and donated for posting to the Clay-Union Foundation website and on other sites as needed. Arrive by 7:45 am to catch some preparation pictures and leave at 8:40 am after runners leave. We are very grateful to Peterman Photography and the Rosenbaum's for their great pictures in 2014.
