Set up

Details

Generally help with whatever may be needed to get everything set up and ready to go for the event! Includes setting up canopy tents, putting out signs, building an archway, and other fun activities

Refreshment Station

Details

Help to set up the refreshment station, organize it, be sure it is stocked. Help people looking for anything specific. Pick up any garbage that may be laying around and at the end help pack it up until next time.

Event Timer

Either as a spotter or entering bib numbers, assist in capturing the times as participants cross the finish line

Course Corner and Cheer Support

Details

Located along the event route, the number 1 goal is to provide support for the particpants. Cheer them on! Thank them for particpating! Make sure they take the correct turns and are on course. With this being on open roads, help keep an eye on traffic to keep them safe too. Kids 1/2 Mile 8:45 - 10:00 AM, 5K 9:00 - 10:00 AM, and Community Walk 9:30 - 10:00 AM

Water Station and Cheer Support

Provide support needed to partipants and they cruise by. Get them water, cheer them along, pump them up, ensure all is good as they Walk Run Race for THEIR Lives! Finally, clean/pick up any garbage cups/bottles, etc. Have some fun! Bring some music. Cheer on all those amazing Walk Run Racers! Waters, Table, Garbage Cans will be provided.

Cheer and Water Support

One of the most fun things to do. Be at the finish line and cheer the Walk Run Racer's on as they cross that finish line! Be their best supporter, provide them water if they need it, guide them to the food station if they ask, be amazed by the enthusiaum and energy of them all!

Start/Finish/Awards Ceremony Photographer

Take pictures during the event focused on the start / finish line, the silent auction, awards ceremony, etc. Post processing/culling of pictures is not required.

Lead and Sweep Route

Details

Lead the way for the fastest of the fast runners! Keep them on course and safe from traffic! Then "sweep" the router afterwards to ensure everyone makes it back safely. NOTE: There are two small sections of groomed gravel along the route.

Awards Ceremony Help

Details

Note much is more exciting than providing awards to all those that pushed themselves to their own personal limits and beyond. Help us by organizing the Awards for all the various age groups for all the events to have them ready for the ceremony.

Route Clean-up

Details

After the Walk Run Race is done, travel the route picking up all the signage, the water station supplies, any garbage, etc

Start/Finish Clean-up

Details

After the Walk Run Race is done, help packing up the various tables, tents, etc as well as cleaning up any garbage. Our goal is to leave Tiger Stadium, the Route and the Commons cleaner than when we arrived!
