Relay Exchange Station

Mile 3.27 Relay Exchange Station High Priority

Details

This station will have a table, cooler of water, and cups provided. Your job will be to take relay runners to the location before race start. Then, your task is to sit along the course and hand out water to runners and walkers as they pass.
This is the first exchange station for relays.
You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot - off the road as much as possible, please.
This is also a relay exchange station, so relay team members will be hanging out until their team member approaches and switches belts with them. Please assist with belt switching, if needed.
You will also be transporting finished runners back to the finish line.

Mile 6.55 Water Station & Relay Exchange Station High Priority

Details

This station will have a table, cooler of water, and cups provided. Your job will be to take relay runners to the location before race start. Then, your task is to sit along the course and hand out water to runners and walkers as they pass. This station will begin approximately 8:15am and go until the last walker has passed your station. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot - off the road as much as possible, please. There is a porta potty at this station.

This station will begin approximately 8:15am and go until the last walker has passed your station. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot - off the road as much as possible, please.

You will also be transporting finished runners back to the finish line.
The last porta potty on the race route is less than a mile from this station.

Mile 0.5 Traffic Watch & Directing Runners to Turn Medium Priority

This is the first corner, and we need to ensure that approaching traffic (from the South and the West) slows down. Your task will also be to make sure that runners turn here and head East.

Mile 2.25 Water Station High Priority

Details

This station will have a table, cooler of water, and cups provided. Your job will be to sit along the course and hand out water to runners and walkers as they pass. This station will begin approximately 7:30am and go until the last walker has passed the mile 2.25 mark. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot. If you do not have a vehicle, one of our other volunteers will drop you off and pick you up. There is a porta potty at this station.

Mile 4.35 Water Station, Traffic Watch, & Directing Runners to Turn Medium Priority

This station will have a table, cooler of water, and cups provided. Your job will be to sit along the course and hand out water to runners and walkers as they pass. It is also important that you remind runners that they need to turn here (they should head North). Please also keep an eye on approaching traffic (from the East), and notify them of the racers on the road. This station will begin approximately 7:30am and go until the last walker has passed the corner. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot. If you do not have a vehicle, one of our other volunteers will drop you off and pick you up.

Mile 7.5 Water Station, Traffic Watch & Directing Runners to Turn Medium Priority

This station will have a table, cooler of water, and cups provided. Your job will be to sit along the course and hand out water to runners and walkers as they pass. It is also important that you remind runners that they need to turn here (they should head West). Please also keep an eye on approaching traffic (from the North), and notify them of the racers on the road. This station will begin approximately 7:45am and go until the last walker has passed the corner. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot. If you do not have a vehicle, one of our other volunteers will drop you off and pick you up.

This station will begin approximately 8am and go until the last walker has passed the mile 12 mark. You may want to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the weather. If you have your own vehicle, you may park along the route at this spot. If you do not have a vehicle, one of our other volunteers will drop you off and pick you up.

Other Tasks

Finish Line Assistant Medium Priority

July 11, 2026

Details

Hand out water, medals, and snacks after finishers cross the line. This task will not begin until approximately an hour after race start and will continue until the final walker has crossed the finish line. This station is located at the race finish/parking area.

Packet Pick-Up BEFORE Race High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Make sure runners get their packets with their racing bibs before the start of the race. This is from 6am-7am, but may run all the way up until race start if anyone is arriving late. This station is located at the race finish/parking area.

Tshirt Sales and Handout Table Medium Priority

Details

Hand out pre-purchased tshirts and sell tshirts before, during, and after the race. This station is located at the race finish/parking area.
