Registration & Packet Pick Up - Race Morning High Priority

Details

Volunteers assist in setting up registration by organizing bibs, safety pins, computers, and T-shirts, among possibly other lite tasks. You will hand out packets to registered participants and assign their bib number. Instructions will be provided and a lead staff will be available to assist in this area.

Event Set Up and Breakdown High Priority

Volunteers will assist race staff in setting up the event area as well as the start/finish line area, but placing tables, tents and other equipment needs. It's not necessary to be able to lift heavy items, but it may be asked of you. Please let us know if you have any restrictions.

Bike Course Leader and Sweepers Medium Priority

Details

Volunteer Bicyclist will lead the participants on the course. They will sweep leading the fastest, middle and slowest around the course and ensure all participants have completed the race.

Bikers will pay attention to any participant who may need medical attention and signal for help back to the Medical Tent.

Water Station Volunteer High Priority

Details

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE COOLERS ON TABLES.
Volunteers will assemble the water cups close together on the table, with the cups half-to-three-fourths full, place the water with your palm open facing up for the runners/walkers to easily grasp the cup as they fly by. This technique will help reduce water being spilled on you. *This is a great task for groups.*
CLEAN UP: Empty the coolers and any cups with water onto the grash and place all trash, including cups that may have been thrown on the ground and leave with cooler and table. We will be by to pick up the equipment.

Clean Up - Race Day High Priority
