We need Volunteers to assist with registering participants and event information. Duties include setting up the registration area, sorting information, handing out participants packets and assisting with questions and answers about the event and area. Some light lifting may be needed for the early shift.

We will need volunteers to assist with directing people to and from seminars, along with being room monitors that will assist with seminar needs. Seminars will go from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. All material needed will be provided, just bring your smile and warm personality.

We need volunteers to assist and guide people to and from the music hall, and inside the hall as we will have entertainment running all day long. We will have music going from 1:00pm-6:00pm.

Friday - Evening Entertainment

Our event is about brining people together and Friday night we hope to do so with our first headline band of the weekend. We need volunteers to assist and guide people from the parking lots and convention center entrances to evening entertainment. Standing and directing participants will be required. We have two shifts as music will go on from 7pm-11:00pm. Early shift will help assist people in, mid shift will make sure everyone is having fun and monitoring door for participant badges and the later shift will assist with helping to empty the ball room and guide people to transportation points.

Saturday - Race Volunteer - Set up

Details

We need Volunteers to help us set up the running portion of the event. The "Highlight" of the weekend will be the Go Retro Running Race and we need a lot of great supporters to help us pull this off. We are looking for 20-30 people who can help set up tents, tables, place signs around the course, guide runners to their locations and assist with other duties as needed before the race. There may be some light lifting and heavy lifting as well as walking.

We are looking for Volunteers to help us with any last minute race registration. Duties include making sure that all participants have their bibs and packets, as well as answering any event questions. There may be some light lifting and standing.

Saturday - Race Volunteer - Course Marshall

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Marshal Volunteers are needed to keep our runners safe and going in the right direction! We need volunteers to be out on the course at key turning points to help guide the runners in the correct direction. We will provide all the information needed along with vests and flags for safety. Standing will be required and walking up to 1-2 miles overall to get into position on the course. This is one of the most important race course poistions and all volunteers must be able to stay at their post the entire race, rain or shine.

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

A great race can't happen if people are not able to get to where they need to be on time! We need volunteers to help guide runners who are driving to the proper parking locations. Duties include standing and directing traffic. Pleasant personalities are a must as everyone wants to get in place and pre race jitters are often at a high. We will provide volunteers with proper security vests and flags.
