Volunteers are responsible for helping with start/finish line tasks such as putting up the arch, helping set up timing equipment, start/finish aid station, and medals/finish line snacks. Also responsible for supporting and congratulating runners, handing out medals, restocking snacks and water, managing merchandise, timing chip collection and keeping trash tidy.

Aid Station Volunteers will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of the assigned aid stations. These volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setup, teardown, maintenance of supplies, helping the athletes as needed, and restocking the aid station as supplies are used.

Details

Preferred volunteers with medical background. We will provide various first aid supplies and AEDs to use if needed. The medical team will assess any injuries (falls, cuts, dehydration, heat stroke, etc.) and provide minor first aid duties or call for assistance as needed.

Course Wrap Up

Course Clean-Up / Load Up

Details

The course clean-up crew is responsible for running the course in assigned sections and ensuring all flags and course markings are collected and disposed of properly. This crew will also be conscientious of any trash on the trail. The load up crew will help wipe down tables and chairs, break down tents, pack any remaining items for aid stations, merchandise, and finish line, and help load the trailer.
