Assist with handing out packets to the athletes on race morning. Volunteers will be using our event app to sign in and sign up registrants so they must be proficient with using technology.

Event Course Water Station & Awards Ceremony Volunteers

Details

Set up water stop at a strategic location on the event race course. Once the race begins, volunteers will hand out water to athletes as needed. Once 5K is complete, you will return to the pavilion to assist with handing out awards.

Location

After registering, please gather for your shift near the stage under the pavilion and wait for your event task coordinator for further instructions. A map will be located at our registration area for you to reference.

Finish Line Volunteer 5K and 1K

Details

Assist in organizing and setting up the finish line water station, EMT table, and finisher medal table. As runners finish, volunteers will hand out finisher's medals to runners for the 5K. For the 1K, you will toss color at the participants upon start and finish of the race. Please note to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!

Packet Pickup Volunteers

Assist in putting together and giving packets to athletes. Packets will contain race bib, shirt, and other sponsor collateral.

Kids Zone Volunteers

Details

Volunteer will assist with the Kid's Zone area. There will be various activities such as face painting, bouncy houses, crafts and more.

Color Run Volunteers

Details

Your task will be to stand at various color stations on the 1K course. As runners pass, you will toss colorful powder at them. This task can get very dirty so please dress accordingly.

Shuttle and Parking Area Volunteers High Priority

Details

Volunteer will assist at our parking area. You will receive a safety vest when you arrive to ensure your safety and be responsible for setting up safety cones as needed, shuttle tent, directing vehicles to park, and ensuring pedestrians make it safely to our shuttle tent. Volunteers may also be tasked with driving participants to the venue with Golf Carts.
