Packet Pickup

Friday, October 25. (3:00-6:00pm)
Participants can stop by between 3:00-6:00pm that day to pick up. We will give them their runner packet, bib # (with safety pins), and their t-shirt.

Event Set Up Crew

Set Up:
- vendor tables
- check-in
- stage decoration
- banners/signs (around the start, parking, and along race route)
- water stations
- snacks/beverages

Check-In Table

Saturday, October 26 (7:30 - 8:30am)

Volunteers will:
- check in participants for the event day
- give out any runners packets, shirts, & bibs not picked up on Friday
- help register walk ups
- sell any extra race day shirts

Water Stations

Saturday, October 26 (8:20-10:00am)
*end time depends on when the last participant passes

Volunteers will:
- prepare water in individual cups
- distribute waters to walkers/runners
- help pick up discarded cups by runners
- when last runner passes the station start to tear down the table & supplies

We will provide all supplies needed & will have a committee member with a truck to pick up supplies.

Give Directions Along Race Route

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Saturday, October 26 (8:20-10:00am)
*end time depends on when the last participant passes

Volunteers will:
- be assigned spots along the race route
- give walkers/runners clear directions along the course
- cheer on walkers/runners
- when last runner passes, pick up any race signs around you (bring back to check-in table)
- please also check for any trash along the course to pick up before leaving your station

Clean Up Crew

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Saturday, October 26 (estimated start time is around 10:15am)
*depends on when the last participant finishes race & will begin once awards are concluded.

Volunteers will:
- help wrap up the event day
- breakdown & gather equipment for rental pick ups (tables, chairs, tents, etc.)
- take down & collect all signs/banners
- organize & load into cars supplies from the day
- clean & clear the event area (picking up debris, disposing of trash, and leaving the venue as we found it)
