Oversees the volunteer check-in area and ensures volunteers are welcomed, checked in, and directed to their assigned positions efficiently. Responsibilities include maintaining volunteer rosters, confirming assignments, distributing credentials or supplies, communicating important race-day instructions, coordinating with area leads, and troubleshooting volunteer questions or staffing gaps.
Answer questions, provide event directions, assist participants and spectators, and help manage Lost & Found items. Volunteers receive verified service hours, an event shirt, food and beverages, and a fun opportunity to be a central resource on race day.
