Our Butterfly Run 5K takes a village, and there are so many meaningful ways to serve throughout the day! Whether you love organizing, encouraging runners, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.
Volunteers may assist with:
Event Set-Up
Arranging tables, tents, banners, and signage
Setting up the registration and packet pick-up area
Preparing water stations and cheer zones along the route
Organizing medals, shirts, and race materials
Registration & Packet Pick-Up
Checking in runners and families
Distributing race packets, shirts, and bibs
Answering basic questions and welcoming participants
Course Support
Serving as course guides and safety monitors
Cheering on runners and walkers
Assisting at water stations
Finish Line & Celebration
Handing out medals to runners as they cross the finish line
Offering water and encouragement
Helping direct participants to photo areas and refreshment stations
Hospitality & Engagement
Greeting guests and sponsors
Assisting at information tables
Supporting children’s activities or vendor areas
Event Tear-Down
Breaking down tents, tables, and signage
Packing up supplies and equipment
Helping restore the venue to its original condition
