LEAD - Start/Finish High Priority

Will oversee volunteer team for activities at/near the start/finish.

LEAD - Course Marshal High Priority

Will oversee set up and tear down of course along with volunteer team for course marshals

Lead Bike/Scooter High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

The Lead Bike role is critical to a successful race.

The Lead Bike will begin about 30 feet in front of the starting line and when the race starts will ride out front of the lead runners maintaining their distance and guiding towards the correct path for runners to follow.

Course Marshall High Priority

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

Race Marshalls will be stationed at critical points along our course.

The Race Marshalls role is VERY important as you will have responsibility of keeping runners safe and ensuring runners stay on course during the time of the race.

Various Points along the course - arrive 1.5hrs before race start

Parking Team Medium Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Parking Team Volunteers are vital to help ensure participants know where to go and where not to go on Race Day when they arrive at Rad Fest.

We need at least two for this task - more the better!

RAD Zone Medium Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

RAD Zone Team will be responsible for checking those in the RAD Zone have a wristband, regulating flows on bounce and games for participants - this area will be in demand and limited slots - sign up quickly!

Race HQ

PHOTOGRAPHY - course, finish line and awards High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

One photographer will be stationed along the course to capture runners in motion.
One photographer will be stationed at the finish line to capture runners finishing.
One photographer will be responsible for taking pictures of and short video interviews with our award winners.

*all photographers will take photos of Race HQ (runners, sponsors, etc...) pre-race

Packet Pick-Up High Priority

Details

Assist with check-in for participants that have not already picked-up their packet prior to race day and any race day registrants.

- arrive 1.5hrs before race start

FINISH LINE - Medals & Water Medium Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

2-3 Handout finisher medals and water to participants as they cross the finish line
2 Announce Overall and Agegroup winners, and give trophy/medal, direct to RRC photo wall for pics/interview.

RACE HQ - arrive 1hr prior to race start for briefing and check-in.

Course Water Stations Medium Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Handout water to any participant that needs it, throw away used containers

Location

Course TBD - arrive 1hr prior to race start

Floater Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Race Team Floaters are critical to Race Day success!

Each floater will show up at least 1.5hrs prior to race start and to be available and ready for whatever need may arise. Floaters will work closely with the Race Director and Timing Director to assist until race is complete and pack-up finished.
