Water Station
Set up water tables, cups, and water before the race begins.
Fill cups and keep them ready for runners.
Hand water to runners as they pass.
Keep the station clean and pick up discarded cups.
Cheer for and encourage runners.
Help break down and clean the water station after the race.

Race-Day Packet Pickup
Welcome runners and provide friendly customer service.
Look up each runner’s registration.
Give runners their race bib, safety pins, shirt, and other race items.
Direct runners to the start line and answer basic questions.
Refer registration problems to a LaceUp team member.

Passing Out Medals High Priority

Passing Out Medals
Stand near the finish line in the assigned area.
Congratulate every finisher.
Place or hand one medal to each runner after they cross the finish line.
Keep medals organized and ready.
Notify the LaceUp team if medal supplies are running low.

Race Breakdown and Cleanup High Priority

Race Breakdown and Cleanup
Take down tables, tents, signs, banners, cones, and other equipment.
Collect trash and help clean the race area.
Pack leftover shirts, medals, bibs, water, and supplies.
Return equipment to the designated LaceUp vehicle or storage area.
Check the area to ensure nothing is left behind.
Remain until the volunteer coordinator releases you.

Race Results
Record and monitor runner finish times.
Help runners find their official race results.
Direct runners to the results table, screen, or online results page.
Assist with looking up results by the runner’s name or bib number.
Report any missing or incorrect results to the LaceUp timing team.
Keep the results area organized and answer basic questions.
Congratulate runners and remind them that final results may take a few minutes to update.
