Volunteers will distribute packets to race participants. Packet Pickup will be held at RunUnited from 12-6pm, on January 20th.

Water Station

Race Day Water Station (6-9 volunteers) High Priority

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

Volunteers will distribute water to race participants on the course. Volunteers will clean up area near water station and return additional supplies and trash cans to RunUnited. There will be 3 water stations on the course. Time commitment: 7:00am-9:30am

Location

Various locations on the Walnut Creek Linear Trail.

Course Monitor

Course Monitors (5 needed) Medium Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course Monitor will direct runners on the course to make sure that they stay on the right course.
Course monitors are expected to stay on the course until the last runner has passed their checkpoint.
Course monitors may be asked to pickup directional signs on the course and return them to RunUnited.

Various locations on the Walnut Creek Linear Trail.

Start/Finish Line Clean Up

Start/Finish Line Set-up/Clean-up (2-4 needed) High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will setup the Start Line area with tables, tents, cones and prepare medals for distribution.
Volunteers will distribute snacks post race.
Volunteers will distribute age group medals.
Volunteers will direct runners to the start line.
Volunteers will help clean-up Start Line area.
Volunteers will help tear up tables, tents, pickup cones and extra food and medals.
