Provide water to participants as they pass. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles, and trash and place it in the provided trash bins. Please feel free to bring pom poms, signs, horns, music, etc to cheer on participants. Bonus for great costumes!

The "Turtle" assumes the crucial role of the final participant, ensuring the safety and security of both the race course and fellow participants. With a deliberate pace, they steadfastly trail behind, serving as the guardian of the event's integrity. Their commitment to being the last to cross the finish line for the longest distance underscores their dedication to the well-being of all involved. As the ultimate supporter and protector, the Turtle embodies the essence of endurance and solidarity, ensuring that every participant completes the race journey safely. Turtles will receive an event shirt, medal, and free race registration for the race in which they volunteer to run in.
