Water Stop #1

Details

You will provide water and encouragement to runners on the course. May need to drive to your location, and bring back supplies once all runners have passed the water stop.

Please be at water stop NTL 6:00 PM. Please carry your cell phone.

This is a non-running position.

Location

Check in at Pavilion #2 with Volunteer Coordinator before heading to your water stop.

Setup/Teardown Support

Race Site Teardown

Details

Assist with teardown of tents, and race start/finish line area, and prepare them for placing in the SARR trailer.

Food & Drink Prep/Serve

Details

Prepare the food for post-race and serve or keep supplies stocked. Assist the grill master with the sausages. Please check in by 5:30 PM

Talent High Priority

Costumed Talent for start/finish line activities, and photo ops with participants. Please contact race director for additional information. racing@saroadrunners.com

Volunteer Shirt Distribution

Minimum met.

Details

Assist volunteer coordinator in handing out volunteer shirts and marking them as delivered. Note any issues with incorrect sizes, shirt unavailability, etc and provide to Volunteer Coordinator at the end of the race. Remind volunteers that they will only receive one shirt per year. Pack up any remaining shirts and return to Volunteer Coordinator at the end of the race.
