Details

Work with Team Lead to setup signs and water stops along the route. You must be able to commit to a minimum of four (4) Saturday training runs. Must have a current SARR membership.

Water Stations - PREVIEW RUN

Details

Fun includes helping at a water stop during the Preview Run. You will need to stay at your station for ~ 2 1/2 hours. ARRIVAL TIME 6AM at Alamo beer for check in prior to going to your assigned water station. Please bring noise makers, music and your SARR spirit to encourage our runners along the route.

Details

Base Camp Designee is a non-running position. We need a minimum of one per week. You must be able to commit to four (4) base camp assignments to receive volunteer points. The base camp designee will stay at the start of the Saturday run and hold the base camp phone. If an emergency occurs, this person will pick up runners if needed. Base camp volunteer will stay until all runners return or until released by the head Coach.
Please coordinate with the Head Coach or volunteer coordinator choosing the date you wish to volunteer. *You may also run short miles close to base camp.

Base Camp - PREVIEW RUN

Support the team at base-camp in Run Club Village near the finish line. Help setup tents, SARR flags, bag drop area and post-race drinks & refreshments. Bring a folding chair! This is a non-running position and volunteers are expected to stay for the duration of the race. ARRIVAL TIME: 6AM.

The Run Club Village is located within the Finish Line Venue at Civic Park, in between Gear Check and the Awards booth, across from the Beer Garden. We will be in the grassy area.
