Details

Please bring your cell phone and keep the Race Director/Med Tent contact info with you.

Lead bike for 10K, 5K or bike support along the course. Bike support will be responsible for looking for runners in need of assistance and contacting the Medical Tent volunteers or 911 as required. They will also report back to the Race Director as the last runners pass through the water stops. SAG will clear course marshals from their stations as runners clean the course.

Course Marshals

Details

There are 17 course marshal stations along the race route. You will be provided your assigned station and location details on race day. Course marshals will be sent a separate email with a map indicating the route with water stops and course marshal locations. A map with details will also be available at the volunteer check in table for review when you receive your assigned location.

Direct runners along the course, assist officers with traffic control.

Course Setup

Details

Assist with setting out signs on the course and water stop supplies. There are 3 water stops on the course and one at the Start/finish line. Place a containers with water and Gatorade at each water station. Place pitchers for distributing water at each station. A tub with water and ice will need to be placed near the finish line for soaking towels for the race participants.

Please review the race route prior to the race day.

Food Prep/Serve

Details

Prepare the food for post-race and serve or keep supplies stocked. Ensure that food area is kept clean. Replenish as necessary and reserve some supplies so that food and drinks are available for all participants. Chips and snacks can be put on tables for race participants to get, but please distribute burgers or dogs to each person, one per person.

Please remind non-registered guests that our priority is to ensure that runners and volunteers get food and drinks prior to opening up to them.

Course Teardown

Details

Assist with picking up signs on the course and water stop supplies and trash. Course teardown will start after all runners start clearing the course.

Volunteer Coordinator-Day of the Race

Details

Check in volunteers, hand out shirts, have a volunteer briefing at 615am, assure course marshals and water stop volunteers know their locations and review the course map.
Get the course setup and race site setup volunteers to their spots to setup the race. Assist Race Director with any other tasks as needed.
This is a non-running position.

Finish Line-Towels Distribution

This volunteer positions is responsible for handing our towels to our ladies and girls at the finish line. Be sure to get the towels iced and watered down. Only runners with a bib will get a cold towels including the Girls Run that starts at 7AM.
