You will be stationed on the Retama property, guiding participants to follow the natural road curve to the left (to the right on the return) without cutting the curb. Medical / Safety

Medical - Start/Finish

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Medical volunteers must hold current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications; EMT certification preferred. Medical volunteers will provide oversight and render aid for their assigned area of the course, and will coordinate with the Medical Supervisor and/or Law Enforcement as needed. A cooling station will be available at the finish area for heat injuries. *This position will be stationed at the start/finish area.* All volunteer positions are eligible for 1 free virtual entry, if desired. Water Filling

Details

Water Filling Volunteer will be located on the Real Life Center property, and will be refilling and delivering water between the kitchen and the Aid Station, utilizing a motorized vehicle. Aid Station Volunteers will be our main cheering section and will hand out water and Gatorade to runners. You will see runners twice, at roughly mile 0.75 and mile 2.25. Finish Party

Food Server Volunteer

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Food Server Volunteer will be located at the finish line party area in the pavilion, and will assist in serving food to runners and volunteers post-race. All volunteer positions are eligible for 1 free virtual entry, if desired. Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.

Awards Assistant

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Awards Assistant Volunteer must be a runner who is familiar with AG Awards. The Awards Assistant Volunteer and will be located at the finish line party area near the pavilion, and will assist in handing out the AG Awards for Competitive 5k Runners post-race. Details

Finish Line Volunteer will be located at the finish line party area near the pavilion, and will assist in handing out Finish Medals for all participants upon crossing the Finish Line. Set Up Volunteers will arrive pre-race to work with the Race Director in setting up physical elements of Race Day (e.g. Tables and Signs).
