Red River Crossing Guard High Priority

Stop traffic at the intersection of Red River St. and Young Dr. to make sure drivers don't enter course. Will have to direct cars to U-turn on Red River St. and find alternative route into the park. High visibility vest will be provided by VARRA.

Zoo Crossing Guard High Priority

Details

Stop traffic at the intersection of John F. Lee Dr. and Memorial Dr. (by the zoo) and make sure drivers don't enter course. Will have to stop cars and have them wait until there are no runners crossing through that intersection before vehicles are allowed to go to the zoo. High visibility vest will be provided by VARRA.

Golf Course Crossing Guard High Priority

Details

Stop traffic at the intersection of Memorial Dr. and McCright Dr. (by the golf course parking lot and Tikiman statue) to make sure drivers don't enter course. Will have to direct cars to U-turn by the golf course parking lot and find alternative route into the park. High visibility vest will be provided by VARRA.

Check-in Volunteer High Priority

Details

Check-in participants the morning off the race by downloading the Race Checkin App, assigning bib numbers to people, and demonstrating where to attach timing tags. Tell participants to put bibs in front of body and keep visible at all times for picture purposes.

Check-in volunteers can run the race as well since this task will be complete before the race starts!
