Join us in creating a heartfelt and impactful experience at the Celebrate Life 5K Waco event, a collaborative effort between the Texas Oncology Foundation and Ascension Providence Hospital. This meaningful 5K fundraising event is dedicated to honoring the courage of cancer survivors and their families within our community. By volunteering as part of the Event Day Setup Crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every detail is perfectly arranged for a successful and memorable event.

Role and Responsibilities:
As an Event Day Setup Volunteer, you will be an essential contributor to the event's smooth execution. Your responsibilities will include:
Setup Assistance:
Collaborate with fellow volunteers and event staff to set up event-related infrastructure, including signage, registration tables, water stations, and other designated areas.
Decoration and Display:
Help arrange event banners, flags, and decorations to create an inviting and celebratory atmosphere for participants, volunteers, and attendees.
Water Stations:
Prepare water stations along the race route by arranging tables, cups, and water containers to ensure participants stay hydrated throughout the event.
Assistance with Equipment:
Support the setup of any necessary equipment, such as sound systems, stages, and seating areas.
General Support:
Be ready to assist in any additional setup tasks that may arise, contributing to the overall organization and success of the event.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Enthusiasm for contributing to a meaningful cause and making a positive impact
-Willingness to work collaboratively and take direction from event organizers
-Attention to detail to ensure event elements are properly arranged
