-sorting shirts
-putting together bags for racers
-making last minute signs

The end time is flexible. The faster we are done, the sooner we can leave!

You will be responsible for following the last racers to make sure they complete the course safely. Leave your need for speed at home!

Interpreter

Volunteers will interpret before, during, and after the race. Possible settings: opening/closing remarks, registration table, sponsor tables, volunteer table.

Kids' Area

Details

Volunteers will be responsible for setting up the kids' areas and keeping an eye on the kids playing. Parents must stay with their child.

Activities May Include:
Sidewalk Chalk
Bubbles

It will be helpful for individuals to be able to communicate through sign language, but it's not mandatory.

Parking

Details

You must be 17 or older to volunteer for this task.

Need to be stationed around 6:30 to prevent people from parking in the lot. Direct participants to the correct parking areas.

Neighborhood Notification

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This group will be responsible for notifying the neighborhood/surrounding businesses that we will be running through their area. They will have to put a note or contact the business along the 5k's path.

Cheer Section

At least 30 more volunteers needed.

Details

Cheer volunteers will be responsible for:
-making positive, encouraging signs to hold
-setting up in different spots along the route to cheer on runners.
